Description

Two framed pear shaped pieces of Biggs Junction Jasper from Biggs Junction along the Colombia River (North Central OR). Variety is known as Scenic Jasper. One is in a Beige background of construction paper and one in a Rust colored background. Both are in medium Brown wooden frames. the one in a Beige background is in various shades of Greys, Brown, Pinks and Green with Black Dendritic designs. A small round spot resembles a UFO according to Delmar Smith who also says someone else felt it resembled a paramoth looking for a place to lay eggs. The slice in Rust background is very similar to the other only the UFO isn't apparent and is instead less developed with more Dendritic design. Colors are the same only deeper.
