Family: Unknown Genus: Unknown Age: Probably 40 million years old according to Delmar which is the Eocene Location data: Barnes Valley, Bly, Oregon, USA Description: A piece of partially petrified wood forund in Barnes Valley outside of Bly, Oregon, (South Central Oregon). the piece is fragile in the it chips easily and contains many cracks. The petrified part of the wood is in colors of brown and black. The non-petrified parts are cream colored. Piece is probably from oligocene epoch (tertiary period, cenozoic era) Size: 14.500"x 5.250"x 4.750"
