Description

Donor: Smith, Delmar Condition: Very Good Dimensions: 5 7/8" x 8¾" (14.9 x 21.2 cm) Marking Location: On Specimen Description: A roughly triangular ¼" (.6 cm) thick slice of an agate from New Mexico. Polished side shows one large and one small crystalline area (white), surrounded by fortified agate in greys and red with mustard colored moss. Some rock is in opaque white, and grey, and black and is striped along edges, also seen as a rounded, bumpy band running along one side. Notes: Removed to silent auction 11/28/00
