The cups were slip cast from a plaster mold. After the bisque-firing, each piece was hand-glazed with Duncan and Mayco glazes. Latex resist was used to mask off each color area during glazing. Each piece was glaze-fired twice at Cone 7. Glazes used were: Duncan 614 - matador red; Duncan 657 - orange peel; Mayco 400 - lustre green. The display box was designed by the artist and constructed from Red Birch, frosted glass, and clear glass.
