The image here doesn't do justice to the brilliance of the colors in this exquisitely printed image.j While Janet Fish is perhaps best known for her images featuring reflective surfaces like crystal bowls and glass objects, here she applies a similar approach to layering the colors of solid objects such as pears. Her handling of the translucence of the varied leaves and shadows is masterful. The gallery wrote: "6 plates and 15 colors combine with several etching techniques (aquatint, drypoint, and sugarlift) to render a superbly controlled print"
