Needless to say, the area around this station is totally transformed now. It's still the stop for one of the biggest night markets in Taiwan, but many new buildings have gone up since 1992! Note the bus...when I first arrived in Taipei, you could take a regular bus for 8 NT, or pay an additional 2 NT for an air-conditioned ride.
