008Description
This small painting is an early composition by Kuo, with little relation to her later zen-like landscape paintings, except perhaps for the tiny moon in the upper right corner. The body of the angel has been scratched out from among the tangled brushwork of the wings, and the enigmatic expression on the completely flat oval of the face leaves the viewer with an overall feeling of serenity.Inscription/Signature/Marks
