This is the cover (and page examples) of a 55-page monograph I published in 2000 to mark the completion of Song-Ming's residency in Aachen. During his brief time there (not quite 4 months) Song-Ming turned out 18 large scale woodblock prints, and filled several sketchbooks with over 100 drawings and watercolors. The book was designed, and the printing handled, by Booday Cooperation Workshop in Taipei. The monograph features appreciations in German and English (with translations into Mandarin) by Dr. Annette Lagler of the Ludwig Forum in Aachen and by Dan Castelaz, as well as an essay by the artist himself.Dimensions
