This is the cover of the monograph published on the occasion of Wu Song Ming's major exhibit at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum in 2002. I've also included a page from the essay I contributed to the catalog, titled "Notes from a Journey, A perspective on the art of Wu Song Ming." I took the liberty of adding the photograph of the artist that was included in the monograph, taken in 2001 at his Cite des Arts studio in Paris. It was an honor and a great privilege to be asked to write the appreciation for this important show, which introduced Song Ming to a much wider audience and included work from his European residencies (in Paris, France and Aachen, Germany) as well as prints he produced in his Peitou studio.
