004Description
Despite the prominence of the red text "Irreversible" below the image, the title of this work is "In The Western Land". In this color impression, an orange band of mountains marks the distant horizon line, while an ominous cloud of dark smoke seems to emerge from those same mountains to dominate the landscape. The sky around the plume of smoke is animated by blocky chunks of red outlined in black, and there is no plausible explanation for what they may be. The word "Irreversible" therefore appears as a warning, adding a dystopian feel to the image.Inscription/Signature/Marks
