For a few years, I lived in a small alley off a main road in Peitou that led to Tamshui and points north of Tienmu. From the back window of my apartment you looked out over the huge Gwandu wetland, but a narrow street was also there, which was the access to the main road. Just down that street to the east was a small warehouse-type building that I walked by regularly, where they made statues like this one, which was parked unceremoniously outside the large access doors of the facility.
