Using found pieces of decorative tin, much like the stuff we are familiar with from old Quaker Oats cylinders, Tony Berlant assembled this abstract image and affixed it to a wood plank. It features pieces that feel like landscapes, as well as a couple of birds that are perched proudly on the right and left sides of the piece. The image does not convey the overall sheen and drama of the piece, with the multiple nail impressions and rich color.
