When Wu Song Ming lived in Aachen, Germany for a three-month-long residency he produced an amazing number of large scale prints. This one features two massive figures, animated by swirling interiors, standing forcefully in the foreground. Behind them a row of German townhouses and the German countryside suggest Aachen and its surrounding area. The tower that appears lower left, with its rooster perched upon it, is a reference to an Aachen landmark, and the brick pattern cut into the lower wall is a nod to the brickwork found across the city.Inscription/Signature/Marks
