Signage on the Sunrise Trail as it crosses Route 86 from the old Washington County Railroad trestle over the Dennys River into Edmunds, Maine.

Context

When the Washington County Railroad opened in 1899, it crossed Route 86 at this point, until it was taken up and converted in the Sunrise Trail in the 1990's, for use by ATV's and other recreational travellers.
