Peter B. Gardner, son of Abner Jr., erected his home at the top of the hill next to his father's. His son, Jesse E. by his first wife Margaret (Card), married Abbie Ann Jones daughter of Elias Jones, and lived on the Shipyard Road. Peter B. Gardner's daughter by his second wife, Helena (Sprague) (Libby), married Edwin C. Mahar, and later lived in the Peter E. Vose house on Harrison Avenue. During the 20th century the house became the residence of Carrol and Nettie Kilby, and is now occupied by his grandson and his wife, Billy and Valerie Kilby.Collection
