One of the first frame houses in Dennysville was built by Zenas Wilder, an uncle of Ebenezer C. Wilder, Sr. Zenas Wilder was a blacksmith who built his home and barn on the hill overlooking Lincoln's Pond, above Abner Gardner's property. It was occupied continuously by five generations of his descendants,--Zenas, Jr., Pyam, Frederick, Theodore, and Elizabeth (Wilder) Ward. Over the years a larger main house was added to the original structure, and a garage. The original barn, however, is unchanged and still in use.Collection
