Water overflows the Lincoln Mill dam on the Dennys River during the spring floods, watched over by the Mark Allan house, later owned by his son Theophilus W. Allan, and the adjoining Abner Gardner property, then owned by Isaac Hobart Allan, in these photographs taken by John P. Sheahan c. 1885.
