Context

A garage and filling station was located here on U.S. Route One by a Maker, with a lunch counter later operated by Harry Jamison and his wife. It was purchased from them by Emery Davis, and after a few years his daughter and her husband, Wayne and Roberta Seeley, turned the garage into a store, adding a home for their growing family.
