1950's view of Forrest Higgin's Store, which also housed the Post Office before it moved to its present location. For much of the nineteenth century the store was owned and operated by John Kilby and later his son-in-law, Peter E. Vose, who was succeeded after his death in 1899 by his son, John Vose.
