From much of the 20th century this early house was home to the family of Clyde and Barbara (Brown) Lingley. In addition to raising four children, Clyde built Lingley's garage about a quarter mile down Route 1 toward Dennysville, where he advertised "Doc Lingley, Motor Jobs and Tune Ups"Collection
