This is the location of a farmhouse, cattle barn and outbuildings at the junction of the Preston and Belyea roads and the road leading to Hurley Point. In 1881 the property was identified on the Colby Atlas map of Washington County as belonging to W. F. Heywood, a family name that is alternately spelled Haywood and Hayward.Collection
