This site marks the graves of Isaac Hobart, son of Colonel Aaron Hobart, the original Proprietor of Township No. 10, later Edmunds, and his wife Joanna (Hersey) Hobart.

The gravesite of Isaac and Joanna Hobart, founders of the town of Edmunds, is still marked out by a fine cast iron railing, though sadly neglected. The site once commanded an engaging view of the surrounding community as seen in the photograph taken from this spot by Dr. John P. Sheahan around 1890.
