Description

Bouquet vase in white glazed porcelain. One side has coat of arms consisting of crest divided into 4 parts (3 blue background segments with cross in upper left, stag's head in lower left, and yellow stripe with wolf's head above stripe in lower right segment, and upper right segment is red background with rearing horse), with a figure of a rearing stag covered in red stars on left of crest and rearing brown horse figure on right of crest. A crow/raven sits on top of crest. Below crest is yellow banner with the words "Salus Populi Suprema Lex". Below banner is the word "Lewisham". Bottom has manufacturer's mark of “WH. Goss” “Model of Vase from the Ancient British Lake-Village near Glastonbury”.
