This was one of the photographer's early attempts at breaking down a 1950's Kodak "tourist camera", a medium format camera that took 620film. The camera was modified in order to shoot an entire roll of film as one long continuous negative, or frame. No frames, just one, the entire length of the roll. I have a passionate interest in visualizing the idea that we are both wave and particle at the same time. I took flight with this from Young's "Double Slit experiment" exhibiting that light is both wave form and particle. So in the photograph, I have attached lights to parts of my body to capture the waveform, while at the same time the stuttering moment of my image show a solid form, particle. I'm standing still in the photograph and only nodding my head. The film is being pulled across the back of the focal plane while the Aperature is on Bulb, open the duration of exposure. In a silly play of moving images that are shot at either 24frames per second (film) or 29.5frames per second (video), I shot these as 24seconds per frame. They film is slowly drug through the camera for the recording of lightmotionspace, a one term phenomena that is photography's mediums: light - spacetime - movement.Acquisition
