pigment, Wood, found materials.Context
His work is discernible by his generous use of commonly discarded objects including found objects, garden rakes, pieces of metal, crusted paintbrushes, and most recognizably, bottle caps in his creations. In this untitled head mount sculpture of Mr. Imagination’s, the triangular base is lined with his signature bottle caps. With a paintbrush as a head, a common motif for Mr. Imagination, and bristles for hair, this sculpture is both playful and indicative of the artist’s fascination with paint brush portraiture. A visionary of his time, he found spirituality in every object and to the people that knew him he was a generous spirit of passion and creativity.Acquisition
