DeWitt District Library

DeWitt, founded in 1833 by Captain David Scott, was the first town in Clinton County. The local history collection preserves the pictures, documents, and stories of the area's history. The DeWitt District Library local history collection was started by librarian Faye Hanson in the 1960's. Under the guidance of local historian Ken Coin it was greatly expanded during the 1980's and 1990's. High resolution scans of photos are available upon request.
