Dialogue [pamphlet] / Namgyal RinpocheEntry/Object ID
CORE BQ4610 .R55 1983Description
Following a course given in Boise, Idaho, September 1983 by Karma Tensing Dorje Namgyal Rinpoche, a group of his students in Boise compiled this pamphlet.
Excerpt:
"It is our obligation to ask whether we are truly interacting with other people or just projecting images onto them and dialoguing with that.We must understand how we project our fantasy onto the world and how we are subject to the projections of others. We must come to see the reality which is occurring and we must act with awareness."
"Committing your dialogues to writing brings them fully into the conscious mind, out of the grip of fantasy. The written record allows careful review at any time. And the physcial act of writing the inner dialogues down is, in itself, an act of mastery over inner tapes. Writing these dialogues is a step toward freedom, which increases confidence that further mastery is possible."
