Meeting Ananda Bodhi : heavenly enlightenment / Susan M. RiskEntry/Object ID
CORE BQ974 .R5 1998Description
We were joyous, we were beautiful, and besides becoming super-moms, we sought enlightenment. We found a non-sectarian teaching, and we found time for some depth studies in the spirit. There is no attempt to proselytize in this work, since the purpose of courses toward enlightenment is to seek an egoless state of openness. The author seeks to describe the joy of discovery, and also the bliss-awareness that unfolds naturally from the Buddhist environment, and to celebrate the profundity of the teaching offered by Ananda Bodhi, who was later ordained as Namgyal Rimpoche. This leader was, himself, open to Eastern and Western themes, and to the authors' delight, each path moment illuminated the greatness of Judaism, as well as the clarity of a continuum that is both the emanation of the Buddha and of the great presence of Moses.Collection
