Notes
Gordon Huether abstracts humble plant life by using 22 foot tall recycled aluminum airplane gasoline tanks. Yucca's tanks are referred to in military jargon as drop tanks, since they are built to be dropped with the push of a button once an aircraft has used all its fuel. The tanks were stripped to reveal the reflective metal surface with the intention of mirroring the sculptures surroundings.
