Notes
Boat built around 1910 by Al Roger who built the Weiland barge in 1887 and later, The South End barge. His boat shop was in Alameda. Likely there were various owners. The Sausalito Historical Society acquired the boat in 1980 from Harold/Russ Sommers. Since then it was displayed in the Sausalito Friends of the Library room. In early 2017 Richard Cooper of the Dolphin Club inquired about it. SHS decided they no longer could care or store the boat. They decided to donate it to the Dolphin Club. The transaction was facilitated by a $2000 donation to the SHS. On 9/13/2017 the skiff was carefully trucked to San Francisco, and two weeks later suspended from ceiling of the club entrance for display.
