Subject

The rowing clubs, L to R, Ariel, Dolphin, and South End clubs in 1923. The other building to the left (east) was the Crystal Springs Water pumping station. The Dolphin Club boathouse was built in 1896. The other clubs arrived about a dozen years later. The railroad trestle over the club piers went to a tunnel under Fort Mason.
