Description

One complete official U.S.Navy sextant set in very good condition. The sextant itself is black steel & brass, with two lenses, two mirrors, and a redwood & brass handle. Text on spine surface side reads: "U.S. Navy BU.NAV. MARKK II" "David White Co. Milwaukee, Wis." All lettering in white w/ adjustable dials marked in fives of dregrees. Container is a hardwood wooden box with brass name plate, lock and handle. Text on Container front reads: "COSGROVE" "Davide White Company - Manufacturers of - Whites Improved - Surveying Instruments & Engineers Field Supplies - Milwaukee"
