Boat painted white; inside & oarlocks painted lt. yellow; 2 seats, 1 amidship - 1 forward; curved seats fit into bow & stern; stern is curved up & shaped; flat transom; keel goes the length & is deeper at stern; bow curves in & narrows to a point , flat place with a hole; metal plate on this board says "made by Sturgeon Bay Boat Works; ribs at approx 4" apart & 2" on bottom and lengthwise 1 1/2" flat boards on bottom; 2 notched boards are attached to the lengthwise ribs; curved braces on inside of stern & seats; boat built of 2" boards the length & curved; all put together with screws & rivets along gunwale; metal oarlocks are sunk into the wood; 2 oars (7') inside w/leather nailed on & rings; two 16 1/2' oars with leather rings; pole with broken end, painted white, lashed with twine; 2 mast poles--1 with rpe & sail & a pulley at the top; board with 3 rectangular holes about 13'l, painted lt. yellow; 15' pole, flattened on sides at base, rope on it 2-4" dia., a pulley is loose on 1 rope; mid 20's Ernest Anclam, Baileys Harbor, WI replaced the oak ribs.Location
