Signal flags (two) 1 & 2 = red with black square in center; white trim on one end; two gold metal eyelets on same end; black print on trim "U.S. Weather Bureau, Bull Dog 100% cotton, R-4 x 4 ft." these are coastal warning flags; two are used for "high gale."
