Context

Originally used on the vessel Dispatch 1 built by Burger Boat Company for Consolidated Water Power Paper Co. of Ashland, WI, in March 1942. Remained with the company until 1971. Engine belonged to Hannah Inland Waterways Corporation in 1976.
