4th. of July Parade - Sturgeon Bay

Name/Title

4th. of July Parade - Sturgeon Bay

Entry/Object ID

1999.16.02

Description

4th. of July Parade in Sturgeon Bay. The date and photographer are unknown. Shown is a very elaborate early float that appears to say Moellers? along with 6 other cars (model T's?) that are decorated. One of these cars is for the Rotary Club. A man is squatting down next to one of the floats and appears to be reattaching some of the decorations. Little boys in knickers are among the spectators. The parade appears to be on Cedar Street (now 3rd. Ave.). The old court house tower can be seen in the background. There is also an intersection bump marker that reads "slow - keep to right".
