GoodNotes
8/27/2000 - Most of these glass negatives, while in fairly good condition, show evidence of flaking, pitting and discoloring of the emultion base. It also appears that at some previous time, an attempt was made to clean the emultion side of some of these glass negatives, leaving a smear that affects the resulting print.General Notes
Note
Notes: This glass-plate negative was part of the "Herb Reynolds Collection of Old Door County Photographs - Reynolds Art Studio Glass Plates". Herb Reynolds was a Sturgeon Bay photographer for many years. After his death, ownership was transfered to Chan Harris, who donated the glass-plate negatives to the Door County Archives Committee in Jan. of 1989.
The identity of the original photographer is unknown.
