Scope and Content

A school resource book, prepared by the Educational Resource Committee of the Door County Historical Society to be presented to teachers of every 3rd. grade class in Door County. The purpose of the project was to supply those teachers with a resource that aids them in teaching local history at the 3rd. grade level. The book is divided by community, giving a map, fast facts, and a short history of each, that will be understood by a 3rd. grader. A glossary is also included. The book is designed in a way that allows the addition of other communities in the future. Physical Characteristics: 1 white, 1 1/2" binder, 80 sheets, 8 1/2" x 11", photocopies
