Door County Deaths - Old Volume 1 (1856 - 1880). This is a transcript of the earliest book of death certificates located at the Door County Register of Deeds office. The transcript includes the original page number, name, sex, age and occupation of the deceased, the date and place of birth, the father's name, the mother's maiden name, the date, place and cause of death, place of burial and the name of spouse if applicable. The transcript was compiled by Sally Treichel in 1998.
