Included is the program handout for the meeting that lists the 11 sites recognized by the society in May 2000, transcripts of the 10 actual plaques that were presented at that meeting and histories compiled on 8 of those sites. No histories were prepared for the two Forty-Fifth Parallel locations or for the Ice Age Trail. The marker for the Ice Age Trail will be prepared later and presented according to state regulations. It wil be a joint effort of the state's Ice Age Trail committee and the Door County Historical Society, each group sharing the costs. The eastern terminus of the Ice Age Trail will be recognized by the marker to be placed at the Door County terminus at the observation tower site in Potawatomi State Park.
