Early Homestead in Door CountyEntry/Object ID
1997.14.0006Description
An early homestead somewhere in Door County, date and location unknown. Typical of an early homestead, the house is of log construction. A family is sitting in front of the building with another couple in a horse dawn carriage. Homemade scaffolding with a plank on the far side of the building suggests that work was being done on the roof about that time. The slide was made from an early photo in March 1971.Collection
