Scope and Content

#VC-54 - Historical House Walk - a sidewalk tour of historic homes on Monday, August 19, 2002 in Sturgeon Bay (a 0.7 mile loop). Presenters at each of the 10 locations, dressed in period clothing, told about the history of the homes and the families that lived there. Buildings included and their presenters were: 1) Edward Reynolds house at 934 Michigan St. - Kathy Rohde presenter; 2) H.C. Scofield house at 908 Michigan St. - Craig Little presenter; 3) A. W. Lawrence Jr. & Donald Palmer house at 842 Louisiana - Myrle Welhaven presenter; 4) John Walker house at 808 Louisiana - Thelma Walker presenter; 5) L. M. Washburn house at 54 N. 8th. Ave. - L. "Bud" Washburn presenter; 6) Hope Congregational Parsonage at 48 N. 8th. Ave. - Jack Hirst presenter; 7) Washburn & Riebolt house at 727 Michigan St. - Shelly Kerwin presenter; 8) William Reynolds house at 113 S. 7th. Ave. - Marlene Reynolds presenter; 9) A. A. Minor house at 122 S. 7th. Ave. - Willard Dhein presenter; 10) E. S. Minor & Christian Scientist at 312 S. 7th. Ave. - Eldor Kaiser presenter. NOTE: (The last two presenters were not caught on video tape so the person doing the video taping read information about the house while video taping.)
