Description
Duplicate of 2016.5.1 except that this plate is partially in color or has faded to color. Dinner size commemorative plate showing the Cody House (now the White Lace Inn) on 7th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay WI. It is a black & white photographic print with a gold rim around edge of plate. The plate has a Steubenville manufacturer's logo on the back and also a decal reading "Fotoware, trademark reg; Pat appl'd for; National Photo Service & Supply Co. Inc; Appomattox, VA." The non-faded portion of the photo of the Cody House is circular (about 2 3/4" diameter) as if a cup or glass had been sitting on top of the plate for a long time.
