Henry Cheever Sibree, M.D. Born 1852. Died 1923. Married Cora French in 1878 - Three Children: Gertrude, Lucy, Harry (died 17 months). Graduated 1878 - Northwestern University 1883 - Came to Sturgeon Bay 1901 - First Hospital in Door County First doctor to operate for appendicitis in the county. (Note: As of 1917, he was the only man in the U.S. with the surname "Sibree" but may be some in England & New Zealand)
