Henry Grandy. Born 1838 - Died 1923. Married 1868 to Rhoda Lang (b. 1841 - d. 1895) - widow of John with 2 children. Henry and Rhoda had one child who died young. Henry came to Door County from New York in the 1850's. He was a lumberman--drove teams with lumber. He was Door County's oldest Civil War Veteran in 1923--served 4th Ill. Cavalry, Co. I
