Goettelman - Warner Co. (dry goods section) on West Side. Later Mac's Sport Shop and Sonny's Pizza. Henry Goettelman on right.
In 1916 the Goettelman-Warner Co., was formed with Henry Goettelman and William Warner as partners with groceries and dry goods both being sold in the same building (later Goettelman's). Then when the bank moved into the D.C. Pisha building, the vacated quarters were converted to a grocery with an opening between the two stores.
Royal Goettelman formed a partnership with his father Henry in 1938 and assumed full ownership of the dry goods business. In the meantime the Goettelman-Warner partnership had been dissolved and the Warner building (former bank) retained by the Warner family.
Probably taken after the grocery section expanded into the former bank building.
