Scope and Content

West Side Quarry (photo and news clipping-different photos but same quarry?): 1969 news clipping has the following description: "Early in the century, the Sturgeon Bay Stone Co. owned by Lars Jensen and Soren Termansen shipped stone from here to cities on the east and west shores of Lake Michigan for construction of breakwaters and for building stone." Scanned photo shows a boat (barge filled with stone?) with "S.C. BALDWIN, GREEN BAY" painted on the back. Another boat next to it sits higher in the water and name "TORRENT" on the side.
