The assistant keepers house and the garden at Sherwood Point Lighthouse in the early 1930's. The Schopfs lived in this house while serving as assistant light house keeper. Harold Schopf, nephew of Eunice Schopf (wife of the assistant lighthouse keeper at the time), reports that his aunt continually tried to grow peanuts in the Sherwood Point Lighthouse gardens, but they never amounted to anything because the soil was too shallow.Collection
