2023.4.7Description
Set of four Native American Lacrosse sticks. Three of the sticks are smaller with more rounded holes and are believed to be Menominee (speculation). The larger and more traditionally teardrop shaped stick is believed to be eastern Iroquois (speculation). Sticks are handmade of wood and various natural fibers and leathers available to the Native Americans they belonged to. The Lacrosse sticks are in overall good condition given their suspected age (early 1900s), and show minor signs of use, wear, storage and display. Dimensions: Long stick: 47 1/2" long x 7 1/4" wide head x1" handle width. Two small sticks: 37"long. Smallest stick: 16" long x 1/2" handle width.Collection
