Very large beautifully made coiled pine pitch-coated water jar with braided horsehair lugs, made by Jesse P. Holiday. The color is great, with the sumac foundation rods left unpeeled and several bands of unpeeled sumac stitching. The rim has a beautiful alternating peeled and unpeeled sumac false braid. This basket was awarded First Place in Arts and Crafts at the O'Odham Tash Casa Grande festival in 1990.
